25 songs i can’t live without: “New Africa” by Youssou N’Dour

the first time i heard this song i was floored. then i actually saw it live - one of the most moving musical experiences of my life. the combined power of Youssou’s voice, the music and the meaning is epic. to this day, i shed at least one tear every time i hear it.
